Biography

2012 Season: Started every game on the offensive line... highest grade was at Nevada with a 84 percent rating... scored in the 70-perecet range four other times including a 78 percent mark twice, against Nicholls and Lamar.... mark of 74 percent against Southeastern Louisiana and McNeese State... played 773 total snaps with three knockdowns.
 
2011 Season: Played in 10 games at left tackle, starting eight, with an average grade of 81 percent...played 539 snaps with 29 knockdowns... SMU he played 51 snaps and knocked down seven getting a grade of 89 percent... graded at 96 percent against Southeastern Louisiana playing 24 snaps with two knockdowns … missed season finale vs. Stephen F. Austin with a hairline ankle fracture.
 
2010 Season:  Played in two games - against Tarleton State and at Texas State... played just three snaps against Tarleton but was in on 21 plays at Texas State and graded out at 73 percent for that game... also had two knockdown blocks in that contest.
 
High School:  First-team all-district offensive tackle as a senior in 2009 with 40 pancake blocks ... honorable mention All-East Texas... was team’s “Defensive Lineman of the Year” and also the “Most Improved Offensive Player” ... played tight end and defensive line as a junior, and made 37 tackles with 10 sacks before having his appendix removed ended his season ... played for coach Mike Vallery at Kilgore ... part of a district championship team as a junior ... carries a 3.8 GPA ... member of Future Farmers of America and participant in 4-H.
 
Personal: Born Aug. 15, 1991... son of Bryan and Jenni Cole... has one sister, Kay (15)... father works for the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office and mother works at the Good Shepherd Medical Center... great uncle, L.N. “Buddy” Humphrey, played nine years in the NFL... his grandfather, Bill Humphrey, played football and baseball at Baylor and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
