At Mesa Community College, hit .326 with six triples, nine doubles and stole 30 of 32 bases as a sophomore... hit .320 as a freshman with nine triples, 12 doubles and was 14 of 16 in stolen bases.

High School

The Arizona state Player of the Year, first team all-state, first team all-conference, MVP after hitting .525 and also compiling a 2.54 ERA on the mound... stole 30 bases in 31 attempts... all-state, all-conference and MVP as a junior after hitting .425 with 22 stolen bases in 25 attempts... lettered three years in football and track and four years in baseball and soccer... graduated with a 3.45 gpa... honor roll and Principal’s List.

Son of David and the late Nancy Gamboa... born Feb. 16, 1988... four brothers ? David, Jason, Daniel, Jacob... began his NSU career as a kicker for the Demon football team... majoring in business with a minor in general studies.
