2008 Season
Returned midway through the season after enduring should surgery and compiled a 0-0 record with a 2.16 ERA... threw in five games and 8.1 innings, striking out seven batters and allowing seven hits... threw two innings striking out four against Louisiana-Lafayette (Apr. 15)... tossed 2.2 innings allowing no runs and no hits with a strikeout against Texas-Arlington (Apr. 26).
2007 Season
Dominated the Southland Conference with a 3-1 record and 2.93 ERA in league games... finished 4-4 with a 5.92 overall in 14 appearances with seven starts... tossed 51.2 innings with 35 strikeouts... won his first two conference starts... got a 5-2 win over Lamar (May 11) after throwing 8.1 innings and giving up just two runs on seven hits with a career-high seven strikeouts... gave up four runs on three hits in 7.0 innings in a 4-3 loss at nationally ranked Tulane (Apr. 17).
2006 Season
Played in 44 games with 39 starts, hitting .217 with six doubles, a triple and 14 runs batted in... also pitched in five games, compiling an 0-1 record and 9.00 ERA after throwing three innings... at the plate, had a career-best 4-for-5 showing with a double, RBI and a run scored at Texas-Arlington on March 10... had two other multiple-hit games.
2005 Season
Received a medical redshirt after getting injured early in the season... Appeared in three games hitting .500 with an RBI... Saw action on the mound for two games, tossing three innings giving up two runs on one hit with two strikeouts.

Graduated fourth in his class with a 3.75 grade point average at Pine Prairie High School in Pine Prairie, La... Lettered four years in baseball, four in basketball, four in track and two in golf... In baseball, earned All-District honors all four year and All-Parish, All-Cenla and All-State honor his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... Was all-district, all-parish and All-State MVP his junior and senior seasons... Team won the district championship all four years and picked up a state championship his freshman and junior seasons.
