2008 Season

Pulled double-duty as a pitcher and hitter, going 0-0 on the mound with a 4.70 ERA in six appearance while hitting .246 with a home run and six RBIs in 57 plate appearances... had a double and scored 14 runs... started in 11 games as a designated hitter... best game was a 4 for 5 showing with a run scored at Louisiana Tech (Apr. 23)... went 2 for 5 with a home run, RBI and two runs scored at Louisiana-Monroe (Apr. 29)... knocked in three runs after going 1 for 4 against Texas-Arlington in the first game of a doubleheader on Apr. 26... on the mound, tossed three scoreless innings while giving up two hits and striking out five against Louisiana-Lafayette (Mar. 26)... threw 2.1 scoreless and hitless innings with one strikeout against Louisiana-Monroe (Apr. 30).

Before NSU

All-Conference, All-Tournament Team, and team Most Valuable Player as a sophomore after hitting .420 with eight home runs, 15 doubles, two triples and 15 stolen bases... helped his team to a 33-25 record that season... as a freshman, team finished 30-25 as he hit .350 with four home runs... played for Mike McBrayer.

High School

All-District as a junior and senior at Garland High School... hit .380 with three home runs as a senior and .400 with five home runs and 10 doubles as a junior... hit .333 with eight doubles his sophomore year and .300 with a home run and eight doubles as a freshman... earned All-District honors as a football player his sophomore through senior years... lettered four years in baseball and three in football... a member of the FCA.

Personal

Born Sept. 25, 1985... son of Bud Snodgrass and Karen Peacock... father was a defensive lineman for the Demons from 1979-81... majoring in history with a minor in social science... plans to go back to school after graduating in May and work on a degree in electrical engineering.
