2013 Season: Indoor- Competed in the 800m, 3000m, 5000m and the distance medley relay…registered a personal-best 3000m time of 11:03.42 and finished 2
nd at the LSU Twilight meet…was a member of the eighth place distance medley relay team (13:05.64) at the SLC Championships.
2012 Season: Outdoor- Competed in the 1500m, 1 mile, 3000m, 5000m, 10000m and 4x800…registered a personal-best 1500m time of 4:42.37 at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational, placing third…took first place in the 3000m at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational with a personal-best time of 10:29.48…placed ninth in the 5000m at the SLC Championships (18:10.62)…finished 11
th at the SLC Championships in the 10000m run with a time of 39:05.25…member of the first-place 4x800 team at the Cowboy Relays (9:33.03).
Indoor- Placed ninth in the 3000m run at the Jeff David Bank McNeese Invite (11:00.19)…finished fifth in the 5000m at the MSSU Lion Invite with a time of 19:18.77.
2011 Season: Outdoor- Finished at the Cowboy Relays with a 2:33.12 mark to place seventh in the 800m… Marked a 2:29.09 at the Louisiana Classics in the 800m…. competed in the 800m in two other events with a 2:29.25 and 2:34.30 mark
Indoor - Ran a 1:09.21 in the 400m dash at McNeese.
2010 Season: Placed 15th in 800 meters at the NSU Invitational (2:29.10) and 18th at the Ty Terrell Relays in the 880 yard run with a time of 2:34.82.
High School: Lettered three years in track and basketball… Participated in the state meet sophomore season followed by a third place finish at state in 800m junior year… made all-area team in 2008… Senior year, state champion in 800m along with runner-up in Class B girls 400m and won District MVP… ran the 400m in 1:02, 800m in 2:27, and 1500m in 5:18… President of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), FCA and held secretary position of Mu Alpha Theta… won state literary rally contest in sociology… graduated Valedictorian of her class with a 4.59 GPA.
Personal: Daughter of Belinda and Edwin Emory…born Oct. 29, 1990…has one brother, Jonathan…. Sarah is majoring in health and exercise sciences with plans to graduate in May of 2013…plans to become a sports rehabilitation specialist.
