2012 Season: Outdoor- Competed in the 100m, 200m, and 400m dashes as well as the 4x100 and 4x200 relays…registered a season-best time of 12.43 in the 100m at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational, placing seventh…finished fifth in the 100m at the Cole-Lancon Invitational with a time of 12.65…ran a season-best 25.99 and placed 19
th in the 200m at the Southeastern Lions Invitational…finished 22
nd in the 400m dash at the SLC Championships with a mark of 1:01.18…took first place in the 4x200 (1:40.17) and second in the 4x100 (48.97) at the Cowboy Relays.
Indoor- Ran a season-best time of 7.45 and placed third in the 55m dash at the McNeese Cowboy Indoor Invite…finished 19
th in the 60m dash at the LSU Twilight meet with a time of 8.01.
High School: Qualified for state indoor junior year claiming all county…placed second in the 100m, 200m and 400m in the county regionals and state championships senior year…personal-best time of 12.12 in the 100m, 25:35 in the 200m and 57.35 in the 400m…named 1st team all county and region, honorable mention all state and MVP indoor and outdoor season senior season…coached by former Demon Robert Etheridge… member of the Black Student Union, science club, and step team.
Personal: Daughter of Josephine Okoh and Segun Shobayo… one brother, Richard…born October 5, 1991… majoring in pre-med biology… plans to attend medical school and become a cardiac surgeon.
