High School:  Totaled 151 tackles during his junior and senior years at St. Mary’s under father and coach Charlie Cryer … also caused 8 fumbles, recovered 5 fumbles, made 5 sacks, 8 pass breakups, 2 interceptions and 13 tackles for losses. … helped lead the Tigers (11-1) to a No. 1 state ranking in Class A… injury-wracked Tigers fell in the state regionals … First Team All-District and All-Area by the Shreveport Times as a senior … earned First Team All-District, First Team All-Parish, First Team All-Cenla by the Alexandria Town Talk, First Team All-Area by the Shreveport Times and honorable mention All-State as a junior.
