Southland Conference Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, 4x400 Relay (5/4/2015)
2015 LSWA’s All-Louisiana Collegiate Track and Field Team, 4x400 meter relay
 
2015 Outdoor Season:  Had all top-ten performances with nine being top-five... had three best performances at the SLC Outdoor Championships: in the 400 meter with a time of 47.36… ran the 3^rd leg in the 4x100 with Keenan Jackson, Amir James, and Gabriel White with a time of 40.49; and the 48^th nationally ranked time of 3:07.91 in the 4x400 with Jackson, White, and James as the third leg… in the 4x200 had a time of 4:26.15 with White, Ty Shilling, and James; and 3:29.97 with White, James, and Grant Butts in the 1600 sprint medley at the MSU Cowboy Relays… ranked 61^st in the nation in the 400 meter.
 
2015 Indoor Season: Competed in four meets in sprints and relays… every performance was a top-five performance except one which was 6^th… had a career high time of 21.31 at UH Howie Ryan Invitational in the 200 meter… at the SLC Indoor Championships had career best in the 400 meter with a time of 47.36, placing 5^th and place 4^th with a time of 3:13.44 in the 4x400 relay as the first leg with Keenan Jackson, Gabriel White, and Amir James.
 
Before NSU: Attended Wiley College from 2013-2014 … earned a 3.0 GPA. 
 
High School: Competed in wrestling, football, and track and field… won the Arklatex Wrestling Tournament his freshman year… won the regional and city wrestling tournaments in his sophomore and junior seasons… finished 3^rd in the state wrestling championships and won state in the 400m dash his senior year… coached by Perry Moss and Leronn Burris.
 
Personal: Son of Sonja and Anthony Taylor Sr. … born November 9, 1994…  has three brothers, Keith, The’Anthony, and De’Aundre… has a sister, Ke’Shonda... majoring in psychology… hopes to become a pro-athlete or become a collegiate coach.
