2016 Indoor Season: Participated in four triple jump events, never finishing worse than seventh … his best was a fifth-place finish at the MSSU Lion Open (47-11.25) … qualified for the SLC Indoor Championships where he placed sixth in the event with a season-best mark (48-01.75).
2016 Outdoor Season: Participated in eight triple jump events with four top-five finishes … took home third overall with his season-best jump in the McNeese Cowboy Relays (49-03.00 … qualified for the SLC Outdoor Championships where he placed 15th overall (46-06.00).
Before NSU: Attended Garden City Community College for two years and maintained a 3.06 GPA… participated in sprints, long jump and triple jump, indoor and outdoor… best sprint performances were: 7.46 in the 60m indoor, 11.17 in the 100m outdoor, and 22.66 in the 200m outdoor… best performances in the long jump was 22-4.5 (6.82m) indoor and 21-9.5 (6.64m) outdoor… in the triple jump, best performances was 48-6.25 (14.79m) outdoor and 47-11.75 (14.62m) indoor … was Region VI champion, two-time All-American, and four-time national champion participant in the triple jump.
High School: 2013 graduate of Grayson High School, … lettered two years in football and track and Field… in track and field was all-county, all-region, state qualifier, and state runner-up in senior year… best performance in the triple jump was 46-0.5 in high school where he only participated in event as a senior… coached by Mario Lowe and Jason Abner.
Personal: Son of Julie and Kess Agbi… born March 21, 1995… has two younger brothers Itua and Ifidon… mother is a teach and father works with IT networks… majoring in psychology… plans to become a psychiatrist or physical therapist after pursuing a professional career in track and field… nicknamed “Odi.”
