2016 Indoor Season: Ran the 1 mile, 3000 meter and distance medley while competing in six events … teamed up in the medley with Jacob Dahlhoff, Grant Butts, and Anthony Renteria to take home first place in the Cameron Communication McNeese Invite with a combined time of 11:10.21 … had two top-10 finishes in the LSU Bayou Bengal, where he collected a seventh in the 1 mile with a time of 5:06.08 and eighth in the 3000 meters with his 10:47.21 effort.
2016 Outdoor Season: Ran in the 1500, 3000, and 5000-meter runs while competing in seven events … top finish came in the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational, where he placed third in the 5000 meter run with a time of 18:14.60 … also coming in the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational was his 1500-meter time of 4:23.15, resulting in an eighth-place finish.
High School: A 2015 graduate of Belle Chasse High School with a 3.3 GPA… lettered two years in cross country and three years in track… was All-Westbank in cross country, all-district in track and cross country, and 27th at LHSAA State Cross Country Meet as a junior… as a senior, was All-Westbank cross country, all-district track and cross country, and came in 28th at the state cross country meet… coach by Augie Bourgeois and Casey McMann.
Personal: Son of Tiffany and William Ballow... born September 8… has two younger brothers Joshua and Ian… majoring in English… plans to attend law school and open a law firm.
