2016 Outdoor Season: Threw the javelin in four meets, with two top-10 finishes … best result was fifth in the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (155-06.00). 

2016 Indoor Season: Did not compete.
 
High School: Letter three years in football, 4 years in track, and 2 letters in powerlifting at Hanson Memorial High School… was regional champion and state runner-up in powerlifting as a sophomore… in football was named Best of the Teche junior and senior years; was 1^st team all-district as a junior and 2^nd team as a senior… as a junior was district and regional runner-up in the javelin… as a senior was district champion, regional runner-up and placed 5^th at state in the javelin… coacheb by Brett Blakey.
 
Personal: Son of Ann and Greg Soulis… born April 8, 1997… has an older sister, Caroline… father was previous javelin record holder at ULM… majoring in criminal Justin… plans to have a career as a FBI or ATF federal agent.
