2017 Outdoor Season: Remained in a specialist role in high jumping, competing just once during the season at the La Tech Jim Mize Invitational … recorded a third-place finish with a height of 6'.
2017 Indoor Season: A high jumper who competed at the UAB Vulcan Invite … finished 11
th at the event with a 6' 3/4" height.
2016 Outdoor Season: Competed in five events, with two top-five efforts … his best finish came at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational with a leap of 6' 4", which tied for third … also placed 4
th in the La Tech Jim Mize Invitational with his jump of 6' 2" … competed in the Southland Outdoor Championships and finished fourteenth with a high jump of 6' 3 1/2".
2016 Indoor Season: A high jump specialist whose best finish, third, came at the Cameron Communication McNeese Invite with a height of 5' 10 3/4" … was selected to compete in the Southland Conference Indoor Championships, where he took home fifteenth place with a jump of 6' 3/4".
Highs School: Graduated from Zachary High School in 2015 with a 3.0 GPA… participated in Spanish club and prom committee… was also on the swim team… track team was District 4-5A Champions for all four years in high school – 2012-15… as a freshman best high jump mark was 6-0… was 2013 District 4-5A Champion with 6-2 in high jump as a sophomore… as a junior was 2014 4-5A Indoor State runner up in high jump, 2014 District 4-5A high jump champion with a 6-4 mark, and best performance in the triple jump was 41-11… best marks as a senior was 6-4 in high jump and a triple jump mark of 41-2… was coached by Lisa McGhee for swimming and Christopher Carrier for track.
