2018 Outdoor Season: Competed in primarily the 800 at five events and had three top-10 finishes…placed fourth at Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (2:05.81)….came in eighth at McNeese Last Chance (2:10.09) and SFA Carl Kight Invitational (2:01.20)…also competed in the 15000, 4x400, and the 4x800…best result in the 1500 was coming in 37
th at SFA Carl Kight Invitational (4:46.84)…finished fifth in the 4x800 at McNeese Cowboy Relays….was 11
th in the 4x400 at McNeese (3:38.44).
2018 Indoor Season: Competed in the 800 in two events…best result was finishing 16
th at LSU Bayou Bengal (2:06.34).
2017 Cross Country Season: Finished the La Tech Mook Triple Dual at 37th with a 24:28.6 mark in the four mile. Finished 45th at the McNeese Cowboy Stampede, 40th at the Mississippi College Choctaw Open, and 83rd at the Southland Conference Championships.
High School: Graduated with a 4.0 GPA from DeQuincy High School…Banner Roll in his freshman and senior year…,honor roll in his sophomore and junior year…member of BETA and Link Crew…ran track for all four years…lettered in football, basketball, cross country, and track & field…played two years of football, one year of basketball, ran three years of cross country, and did track for four years…District Champion for all four years as a member of the team…two time regional championship…state champions (4x4 relay) junior year…three-time cross country district champion…as an individual, ran 2:13 in the 800 and placed third in the district championships…as a sophomore, ran 2:09 and placed first in the district championships…won the district championships in the 4x2 (1:33)…finished second in the LHSAA State Championships in the 4x4 (3:28)…ran a time of 22:44 in the 5k…as a junior, ran 2:02 in the 800, and placed fourth in the LHSAA State Championships in the event…won the regional championships with a time of 1:28 in the 4x2…took first in the LHSAA State Championships with a time of 3:22 in the 4x4…ran 17:36 in the three-mile...as a senior, finished second in the McNeese High School Cowboy Relays (2:05)…finished second in the same meet in the 4x2 (1:33)…finished sixth in the LHSAA State Championships in the 4x4 (3:29)…ran 16.58 in the 3-mile run…holds the school record in the 800, 4x2 and 4x4 relay.
Personal: Son of Joe and Ruth…brother of Jacob and Ali…majoring in Business Administration…plans to create and run his own business after graduating...life’s ambition is to continue to take action towards his goals and never become too satisfied.
