2018 Outdoor Season: Competed primarily in the 800 in five events and had three top-10 finishes…came in third at Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (1:59.59)…placed sixth at ULM Warhawk Classic (2:01.12)…finished seventh at McNeese Last Chance (2:02.27)…also ran in the 4x400 and 4x800 at McNeese Cowboy Relays…finished fifth in the 4x800 (8:11.78) and placed 11
th in the 4x400 (3:38.44).
2018 Indoor Season: Competed in the 800 at LSU Bayou Bengal and finished 14
th (2:05.09).
2017 Cross Country Season: Finished 48th at the La Tech Mook Triple Dual, running four miles in 27:32.0.
High School: Graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Kaplan High School...Valedictorian of his graduating class...ranked first in his class of 105…placed first overall at the district and second in the state in financial math…member of the Academic All-State for cross country, soccer, track and field...president of 4H...member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes...all parish for cross country as a freshman, sophomore, and senior year...regional qualifier for the mile and fourth at regionals as a freshman...district champion in the mile and fourth at the regionals as a sophomore...regional qualifier in the 800 and fourth at regionals in the 1600 meter relay...finished fifth at regionals in the 800, and finished 4th at regional in the 1600 relay as well as second in his district as a junior...first team all-district in soccer...finished fourth at the state championship after finishing first in the district and first in the regional...finished second at the regional, second at the district, and first in the parish in the 1600 relay...best result in the three mile is 17:56...best time in the 800 is 52.72...best split in the 1600 is 51.9…third best 800 runner in all of Acadiana.
Personal: Son of Ward and Danielle...brother of Adrian and Andrew...majoring in accounting and business administration...plans to get a CPA and work at a food firm or at a bank somewhere in Louisiana, eventually starting his own accounting firm…life’s ambition is to be able to support a family, get closer to God, and give back to his school and coach there later in his life.
