2017 Outdoor Season: Participated in five events in 10 meets...finished first in the 4x100 relay in the McNeese Cowboy Relays (40.11), La Tech Jim Mize Invitational (40.80), and the UTA Bobby Lane Invitational (40.23)...finished second in the TCU Invitational (39.92)...finished fifth in 1600 Sprint Medley in the McNeese Cowboy Relays (3:32.54)...finished with the team’s fastest time in the 4x100 (39.92) and a team season best time in the 1600 Sprint (3:32.54).
2017 Indoor Season: Participated in four events and five meets.
Prior to NSU: Participated in the 200 and 4x100 relays for Meridian Community College … helped the Eagles relay team to three wins in outdoor events, which helped qualify for the 2016 NJCAA Outdoor National Championships where they won bronze (40.23).
High School: A 2014 graduate of Thibodaux High School … lettered in football, basketball and track … made two appearances in the state track meet in his junior and senior years.
Personal: Son of Lynell and Terrance Johnson … born Aug. 3, 1996 … majoring in communication…has one son, Ama’re…plans to be a sports broadcaster or anchor…life’s ambition is to be successful in anything he does and do it to the fullness.
