2018 Outdoor Season: Competed in six events and had top-10 finishes in five meets in the shot put…highest placement was sixth at ULM Warhawk Classic (49-5 ¾) and Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (48-5 ½)…placed seventh at SFA Carl Kight Invitational (48-9)…finished ninth at TCU Invitational (50-2 ½) and McNeese Cowboy Relays (48-10 ¾)…came in 11
th in the SLC Outdoor Championships (49-9 ¼).
2018 Indoor Season: Made a total of four appearances on the season in the shot put. Had one top-10 finish in the shot put…finished 10
th in the SLC Indoor Championships (48-2)…best mark of the season was at Pittsburg State Invitational, where he finished 13
th with a throw of 48-07.25…this mark is also his personal record indoors.
2017 Outdoor Season: Put together a strong freshman campaign with four top-10 finishes as a shot put specialist … opened the season with a sixth-place finish and a distance of 48-04.75 at the McNeese Cowboy Relays … Also came in sixth four days later at the La Tech Jim Mize Invitational with a throw of 46-04.50 … recorded his season and career-best throw at the UH Tom Tellez Invitational with a throw of 50-05.25, good for ninth-best at the Invite … concluded the season with a 48-02.00 throw at the SLC Outdoor Championships, good for 13
th.
2017 Indoor Season: Competed in the shot put four times for the Demons … set a career best with a 46-08.75 throw at the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic to end the season … best finishes (ninth place) came at the LSU Purple Tiger and the UAB Vulcan Invite in consecutive weeks with distances of 46-02.75 and 45-01.50, respectively.
High School: A 2016 graduate from Leesville High School with a 3.4 GPA … lettered in Track and Field, basketball and football … was top-five in every meet his junior year, with his best throw being 22-4 … finished top-three in every meet his senior year, with his top throw being 25-6.
