2018 Outdoor Season: Competed in 10 meets during the season, all in the hammer throw event…earned eight top-10 finishes on the season with four podium finishes included…won the MSU Cowboy Relays/Bob Hayes La. Challenge to start the season with a throw of 181-3 ½…also took first in the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational with a mark of 181-1…his best throw of the year came in a fourth place finish at the TCU Invitational, a distance of 188-0
2018 Indoor Season: Competed in five meets on the year with three top-10 finishes…set a new personal best with his mark of 59-1 ½ in the TAMU Ted Nelson Invitational, also earning his highest finish of the year of fourth…finished sixth in the SLC Championships with a throw of 56-7 3 ¼ and ninth in the UA Tyson Invitational with a mark of 57-4 ¾
2017 Outdoor Season: Solely competed in the hammer throw during the outdoor season … Recorded the team season best, personal best and Demon Top-Five throw in the opening event of the season at the McNeese Cowboy Relays with a distance of 171-7 ¼ (second place) … competed in six more events on the year, finishing in the top-14 in all but one…placed ninth at the SLC Outdoor Championships with a distance of 163-3.
2017 Indoor Season: Competed in the weight throw at two events … recorded a 12
th-place finish with a distance of 51-2 ¼ at the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic … set a personal best and Demon Top Five performance at the SLC Indoor Championships with a throw of 54-9 ½ and a ninth-place finish.
2016 Outdoor Season: Participated exclusively in the hammer throw … best finish came at the La. Tech Jim Mize Invitational where he finished second (149-4)…also placed 12
th in the SLC Championships (142-7).
2016 Indoor Season: Participated in the weight throw in two meets, the LSU Bayou Bengal and the SLC Championships where he placed ninth (43-8 ½) and 13
th (47- ¾), respectively.
2015 Outdoor Season: Participated in the hammer throw with two top-five finishes…. Best distance of 128-06 was at the Demon Triangular Invite and also ranks 5
th in the NSU Top 5 Performers.
2015 Indoor Season: Participated in the 4x400m relay at LSU invitational with Tanner Owens, Kaymin Carter, and Grant Butts with a 7
th place mark of 3:38.71.
High School: Attended Broadmoor High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana... lettered four years in football, soccer, and track… football team went to the playoff in freshman and sophomore year… track team was district champs in sophomore and junior seasons… as a sophomore in the junior Olympics he recorded a 58.9 in the 400 for hurdles… as a junior he was a state qualifier with a mark of 39.9 in the 300 for hurdles... coached by Rusty Price and Elliot Wilkins.
Personal: Son of Jonella Foster and Darrell Pierce… born March 12, 1996… has three sisters, Diamondnick, Taylor, and A’mya… cousin La’el Collins plays football for the Dallas Cowboys … majoring in computer information systems with a minor in business administration… plans to take a semester off to study for GRE and apply for LSU for graduate school to get his MBA…life’s ambition is to be as successful as possible and grow as an individual while bettering not only his community but also others around him.
