1988-89 Postseason Guide: A great athlete who is definite scoring threat from the perimeter ... after starting one game as a freshman (in which she scored 16 points, the a career high), Dixon has started 11 of the last 13 games and has moved up to the fourth spot on the Lady Demon squad in both scoring (8.3) and rebounding (3.0) ... topped her previous career best with a 20-point effort against McNeese State (2/18) ... has scored in double-digits in 12 games, while season best of eight rebounds came against Miami (12/3) .. owns career high of six assists versus Southeastern La. (2/13) and five steals against NCAA Tournament team Cal-State Fullerton (12/2)

General: Last year's biggest surprise, brings a solid outside jumper and defensive tenacity as one of NSU's top substitutions.

1987-88: Started out campaign slow, but by the end of the year was one of Lady Demons top players ... through season's first 14 games, averaged just 2.5 points ... after receiving lone start against Sam Houston State (Feb. 6, 16 points, six rebounds), responded with six points per game and just under two rebounds (1.9) over last 11 games ... that brought her total season averages to 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds ... went three for six (50%) from three point range, top figure on squad ... high for both rebounds (nine) and steals (three) came in Southland Conference games, against North Texas State (1/21) and Sam Houston State (2/6)

High School: Two year starting member of Quad-A State champion Natchitoches Central team ... team went 70-3 over last two years, including perfect 33-0 in 1986-87 averaged 18.6 points per game along with 4.1 rebounds and two assists per appearance in garnering first team all-district honors and honorable mention all-state recognition ... three year starter at NCHS ... selected to play in 1987 Louisiana Summer All-Star game ... second on prep team in field goal percentage after hitting just over 53% of her action shots.
