Biography

1988-89 Postseason Guide: Was a member of the All-Southland Conference Tournament team after scoring a career high 24 points in the first round game with Northeast Louisiana ... she followed that performance with 12 points against Stephen F. Austin ... has been a major influence in Northwestern State's success since transferring from Trinity Valley Junior College last season ... is deceptively quick for a big girl and can handle the ball remarkably well ... tough to stop when she gets the ball inside, mixing hook shots, fade-a-ways and straight-up jumpers ... started final 15 contests last season, and missed only one start this year, sitting out the second Southwest Texas game with bronchitis ... has upped her scoring average 6.3 points a game to her 13.5 mark now ... set new career rebound mark of 13 in contest versus the Lady Chocs of Mississippi College ... has scored over 20 points six times this year, and NSU is undefeated in those games .. was a teammate of Lady Demon Angela Otega at Trinity Valley JC.

General:  Heads into campaign as NSU's starting center after receiving college baptism last year ... good scorer underneath, intimidating shot blocker.

1987-88: Became eligible at semester break and was starting soon afterwards ... averaged 7.3 points overall (7.0 as a starter) but did manage more rebounds (5.5) when in the starting lineup than as a non-starter (3.0) ... found double digits six times, with high scoring contest coming against Mississippi College (2/1) in 79-74 NSU triumph ... career high ten rebounds came in second home appearance ... had five or more rebounds in 13 games ... shot better away from Prather Coliseum (39 of 85, 45.8%) than at home (43-107, 41.7%) ... 43.6 field goal percentage was fourth best among full time players.

Pre-NSU: Two year starter at center for Trinity Valley Junior College ... helpled squad to 26-5 mark after averaging 13.0 points and eight rebounds per outing

High School: Played as a prep at Waltrip High School in Houston, Texas
