Biography

General:  Northwestern State's starting point guard a year ago, most mature player of team who contributes in a number of ways.  Toured Scotland with other conference players in summer and turned in solid-as-usual performances.

1987-88:  Started all but one game (season opening contest vs. Stephen F. Austin, 11/27), and proved to be NSU's most consistent player ... topped all guards in rebounds (90 for 3.2 average); the most by a backcourt player since Jerry Harris' 3.4 in 1984-85 ... 115 assists were team best (4.1 average) and ranked fourth in the Southland Conference ... steady scorer who was in double digits a total of 15 times, narrowly missing the double figure scoring mark for the year (9.6) ... honorable mention All-SLC pick ... named the SLC's Player of the Week (1/18) after going 12 of 14 from the field (85.7%) and two of three from the line and a perfect three for three from three point land in consecutive wins over Nicholls State (1.11) and Northeast Louisiana (1/16) ... Demons top three point threat after connecting on 18 of 40 (45%) .. that total of 18 is a new NSU career mark, breaking the old standard of 13 set by Victor Willis (1985-87) ... managed two games of ten assists, a season high mark for all NSU players, against McNeese State (1/28) and North Texas State (2/27) logged more minutes (924) than any other player (nearest was George Jones' 808) and registered five games of 40 minutes ... on four game summer tour of Scotland, averaged 11.8 ppg on 65.6% shooting with 3.2 assists and six steals per contest in gaining MVP honors.

Junior College:  Two year starter for Brewton Parker JC, helping team to 46-8 record over that span ... 12.2 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 8.7 assists per game and recorded 67 steals last season as club went 32-4, the best won-loss record in school history ... named all-Region (17) for two years and first team all-State Junior College by the Atlanta Constitution .. all-tournament honors came following Region 17 and in the Brewton Parker Tip-Off Classic ... shot 54% from two point range and 46% from the three point circle ... led state of Georgia in assist average ... team finished sixth in national Junior College tournament conducted in Hutchinson, Kansas ... also proficient baseball played, earning MVP and gold glove honors as a prep .. named to Who's Who among Junior College Students.
