Biography

General: May finally be ready to make a major contribution after spending last three years in a backup role. Has center size and NSU needs a man in the middle to replace four-year starter George Jones.

1987-88:  Played in 15 games, his most in two years ... scored 41 points, nearly matching his total compiled during his first two years (42) ... along those line, sank more field goals last season (16) than he did in first two years combined (15) ... amazingly consistent from the floor (64%( and free throw line (64.3%) ... in games in which he scored, averaged 4.6 points ... came off the bench to play 20 minutes against Northeast Louisiana (3/3), reaching double figures in points for the first time in his career with 11 and pulling down five rebounds ... shot 76.9% (10 of 13) at home and has scored in nine straight games he has seen action headed into 1988-89 campaign.

1986-87:  Played in 11 games, scoring in six of those contests for 2.1 average and pulled in 19 rebounds (1.9 average) ... season's best outing came in December 8 contest vs. Texas ,,, went three for five from the floor and peeled off six rebounds in thirty minutes of playing time (his most pt ever) ... those half dozen rebounds gave him a new career high, topping his old mark of four boards (vs. Centenary 1/30/86).

1985-86:  Sat out early part of season with foot injury, but as it improved so did his playing time (17 games) ... went eight of 19 from the floor (.421%) and a healthy five of six from the line (.833%) while averaging just under one rebound (0.9) per outing ... came off the bench for all his action.

1984-85:  Redshirted after suffering a knee injury.

High School:  First player from Loreauville to ever sign a national letter of intent to play basketball ... also the first prep to earn all-district and all-state honors ... named MVP in three tournaments during his final year ... averaged 20 points and ten rebounds while shooting 61% from the floor as a senior.
