Biography

General:  NSU's leading returning rebounder and scorer, combined wid body and soft touch to give Demons consistent inside scoring threat.

1987-88:  Enjoyed finest season at NSU after finishing second on the team in scoring (12.6) and topping squad in rebounding (7.0, eighth in the SLC) ... named second team all-Southland Conference and third team all-Louisiana ... didn't start until season's 15th game (vs. McNeese State, 1/28) ... in 14 games as a starter, averaged 13.8 points and 8.2 rebounds while shooting 54.7% (69-126) from the field ... logged third most minutes played (792) and averaged 32 minutes as a starter ... team's top free throw shooter after converting 104 out of 136 attempts (76.5%), a figure that was sixth in the SLC but second among all "big men" ... recorded eight "double-doubles" games ... led team in steals with 37 (1.32 per game) ... scored in double figures 19 times, including 12 of 14 as a starter ... topped the double digit rebound plateau a total of eight times, including back-to-back efforts of 13 against North Texas State (2.27) and Southeastern Louisiana (2/29) .season high of 14 boards came against Texas-Arlington (1/23) ... topped team in rebounding department a club-high 15 times and was second on another five occasions ... 11 blocked shots were third most on team and his three swats against Stephen F. Austin (1/30) and Nicholls State (2/1) were a season high by any Demon player.

1986-87:  Became eligible prior to the LSU Invitational tournament and made an immediate impact .. came off the bench for a twenty minute stint against New Orleans in the tourney's first round and pumped in ten points and grabbed four rebounds ... those figures were pretty close to his season averages of 9.2 ppg and 4.2 rpg ... played in 21 games and scored in all but two contests (2/9 vs. Centenary and 2/25 vs. Southern) ... found the nets for double digits in ten of those games, including season-high 22 points vs. Nicholls State (2/14) with nine of 13 from the floor performance and  and seven rebounds ... averaged 10.3 ppg in NSU victories and 8.2 in NSU losses .. led club in rebounding five times and finished second on three occasions ... best rebound effort of eight came twice, against McNeese State (1/14) and Southeastern Louisiana (2/12) ... field goal percentage of .549 was second highest on team.

High School: Averaged 24.5 ppg and 9.6 rpg during senior campaign as Brooks County posted 25-3 mark ... played in Georgia all-star game after prep career ... team won at least twenty games during each of his three varsity seasons.
