Biography

2011 Season: Toomer posted satisfying stats stepping in for an injured Rose against LSU with 4 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss of 2 yards, and forcing 2 fumbles…in his first career start at SMU, Toomer made 4 solo tackles, 2 for a loss of 2 yards, and also forced a fumble returned for a TD … recorded 2 individual tackles against McNeese State…2 individual and 1 assisted tackle against Southeastern… one solo and one assist against Central Arkansas…one tackle in each game against Sam Houston State and Stephen F. Austin… recorded 1 quarterback hurry against Lamar.

2010:  Played in all 11 games and made four tackles, all solos... had two stops against Southeastern Louisiana.

2009:  Did not see any action.

Toomer in High School:  All-State Class 4A pick after making 127 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries and an interception as a senior under coach Butch Stoker at ASH ... also a three-year letterman on the Trojans' national-class powerlifting team and a one-year letterwinner in basketball.
