2011: 2011 All-Southland Conference Second Team, living up to his Preseason All-SLC billing and repeating a 2010 honor … started all 11 games at safety and intercepted team-best four passes, returning them for 110 yards … forced two fumbles and broke up three passes … fourth on the team with 59 tackles, including 12 against Texas State in a rugged 23-10 road win … two interceptions against SMU with 91 return yards … two picks against Southeastern Louisiana
2010: Earned team's Most Improved Award as chosen by coaching staff … also a member, for the second straight season, of the Wild Demon Club for passing points benchmark with his special teams performance during the season … played last nine-plus games with a fractured wrist on his right hand … fourth on the team with 64 tackles (43 solo) … led Demons with 3 interceptions, and 38 return yards … made 56 pass breakups, forced 1 fumble, notched 1 QB hurry, and 2 tackles for loss (-4) … made a sensational leaping pickoff, first of his career, vs. Samford after injuring his wrist earlier in the game … had two interceptions at Southeastern, with the second one resulting in a 75-yard touchdown, after he snatched it, ran 27 yards and lateraled to Cortez Paige, who covered the remaining 58 yards to the end zone … season best 13 tackles in two OT homecoming win over Sam Houston State.
2009: Recorded nine tackles in 10 games played... also returned four kickoffs for 78 yards... had a season-high three stops against Nicholls.
High School: Rivals.com two-star prospect recruited by Kansas, Iowa, Marshall ... All-District defensive back as a junior and senior for the Colonels and coaches Mickey Moss and Keith Wright... compiled 298 tackles in his playing career... had 125 tackles with two interceptions and four tackles for a loss as a senior... team won district championship with a 10-2 record as he collected 90 tackles with an interception and five PBUs... had 83 tackles with four interceptions and four PBUs his sophomore season... played wide receiver as a freshman hauling in 11 passes for 213 yards while getting 60 tackles on defense... a Texas Scholar... lettered four years in track, with a 45-10 triple jump personal record and a 23-5 long jump PR.
