At L.B. Wallace: Sheridan averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds per game in his two year career at L.B. Wallace. The team went 35-18 and was ranked No. 9 in Sheridan's first season. He topped the team in free throws both years and was labeled the best defensive player and best rebounder in his final year.

At Andalusia HS: Sheridan added to the Andalusia talent as the team reached the Alabama state quarterfinals for three straight seasons. The team was ranked in the state top ten three times in Sheridan's career, climaxing at No. 2 in his sophomore season when former Alabama star Robert Horry was among hsi teammates. Sheridan sat out his junior season. As a senior, he broke Horry's single-game and career scoring marks. The team went 67-22 in Darren's three years. He was voted the most improved player in his senior season.

Personal: Darren is majoring in physical education and aims to teach upon graduation. His mother, Betty works as a nurse. He is a big brother to three sisters: Valerie, Shannon and April.
