FORT WORTH, Texas – The Northwestern State track and field team had a successful weekend at the TCU Invitational, winning six events, posting 13 podium finishes and tying the school record in the women's pole vault.

Freshman Reagan Darbonne tied the school record of 11-6 ¼ in the pole vault, currently held by Associate Athletic Director Dr. Haley Taitano

"Cedric is looking good. He has the potential to break my mark," Heimerman said. "The goal is for him to do well in the upcoming Texas Relays and get to nationals. Competing with the nation's best in the meet will bring out his competitive edge."
