Started all 11 games as a guard and played 541 snaps getting an overall 73 percent grade… 21 knockdowns… had an 85 percent grade on 60 snaps and 3 knockdowns against SLU for homecoming… 84 percent grade against Central Arkansas on 54 snaps and season high five knockdowns… also had five knockdowns against Lamar… season high 73 snaps against McNeese State for a 72 percent grade.
2010: Played and started in 10 games... graded out at 71 percent for the season and played 427 snaps... had 21 knockdown blocks... graded out at 70 percent or better seven times and had a high grade of 91 percent against Southeastern Louisiana.
2009: Played in nine games with three starts... averaged 61 percent grading for the season and had 17 knockdown blocks... graded out at 70 percent or better in four games.
High School: Three-year all-district selection, twice a first-team pick for Canton's Eagles under coach Lance Angel ... academic all-district with a 3.45 grade point average ... made the All-Smoaky team and also was honorable mention All-East Texas ... had 83 tackles, 9 sacks, 14 tackles for loss, 12 QB pressures and forced four fumbles as a senior, when he was voted Canton's MVP and the team's Defensive MVP ... he won the Defensive MVP award and the team's Defensive Lineman of the Year honor as a junior, when he had 69 tackles, 12 sacks and 21 tackles for loss ... was the District Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore when he had 47 tackles, six sacks, 10 tackles for loss ... had a 1,550-pound total in powerlifting ... regional qualifier in the shot put (56-0) and discus (168-0) in track and field.
