2024 Season: Dropped three punts inside the 20, connected on a career-long 67-yard punt and added a 21-yard rush on a fake punt at Nicholls on Oct. 19 ...  averaged a season-best 44.3 yards per punt and added a field goal at Stephen F. Austin on Oct. 5 ... hit two 50-plus-yard punts and dropped three of his six punts inside the 20 at No. 13 Southeast Missouri State on Sept. 28 ... connected on a 61-yard punt and a 31-yard field goal at South Alabama on Sept. 12 ... hit his first career field goal try -- a 38-yarder -- against Prairie View A&M on Sept. 7 ... had a 51-yard punt and was a perfect 4-for-4 on extra points at Tulsa on Aug. 29.

2023 Season: Saw action in two games in his first season at Northwestern State .. punted six times in his NSU debut on Sept. 16 against Stephen F. Austin ... kicked off once against Eastern Illinois on Sept. 30. 

Prior to NSU: Lettered two seasons at Sam Houston ... earned Academic All-Western Athletic Conference honors ... spent one season at Blinn College.

High School: Three-year letterman for coach Jacob Branstetter’s Patriots ... named first-team all-district as both a kicker and punter and was honorable mention all-state as a kicker in his senior season ... also named All-CENTEX as a kicker and was a second-team all-district defensive back ... first-team all-district kicker and punter as a junior and was a second-team All-CENTEX kicker ... earned third-team all-district honors as a defensive back ... second-team all-district kicker and punter as a sophomore ... East View reached the playoffs in his senior and sophomore seasons ... four-year soccer letterman, earning second-team all-district honors at forward as a junior and senior ... helped East View win district titles as a freshman and as a senior ... also lettered in track and field ... graduated in the top 15 percent of his class with a 3.8 GPA ... was part of the peer-assisted leadership team.

Personal: Born June 6, 2001 ... son of Lucinda and Richard Honshtein ... has a brother, Tre, who played at Sam Houston, and a sister, Raven ... majoring in general studies and has 3.0 GPA ... wants to continue to puruse his marketing business ... life’s ambition is to play professional football and continue his marketing business.
