ACEL state MVP and all-state linebacker as a junior, recording 79 tackles, a forced fumble and an interception while accounting for 1,774 total yards and 25 touchdowns on offense ... collected 99 tackles and two interceptions as a first-team all-district linebacker as a sophomore ... second-team all-district linebacker as a freshman, recording 71 tackles (7 for loss) and a forced fumble ... also lettered four years in basketball, two years in baseball and two years in track and field ... member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society and graduated with a 4.07 weighted grade point average ... also part of the children’s ministry at his home church.
