2007 Season

Saw action in 19 games with nine starts... hit .205 and had a double, triple and seven runs batted in... hit .222 with a triple and two RBIs in eight conference games... had a 1 for 3 showing against Grambling (Feb. 25) in which he knocked in a career-best three runs.

High School

A hometown player who earned first team All-State and All-District honors as a senior at St. Mary’s High School...  first team All-District as a junior and second team honors as a sophomore... helped lead his team to three-straight state playoff appearances his sophomore through seniors seasons... hit .443 with 30 RBI, 26 stolen bases and 37 runs scored as a junior... batted .430 with a .620 on-base percentage as a senior... named to the Puma Preseason All-America team prior to senior season... also a 3-time All-District selection in football and a three-year letterman in track where his team won three-straight district titles... graduated with a 3.4 gpa... Class 1A Academic All-State... member of Beta Club, FBLA, FCA... played for former Demon great Jeramie Hale and Francis Vienne.

Born May 23, 1988... son of Pat and Kim Johnson... three sisters, Sarah Kathryn Mason, Margaret Johnson, and Liz Johnson... majoring in general studies.
