Earned 20 saves in two seasons at Southwest Mississippi Community College... went 4-0 as a freshman with nine saves... also hit .385 that season... earned All-State honors as a sophomore after earning 11 saves while posting a 1.91 ERA... teams combined to go 55-26 wth his freshman team, at 31-9, earning a trip to the regional tournament. 

High School

A four-time All-District player... earned All-State honors as a senior... lettered four years in baseball and one in soccer... played soccer as a freshman and helped his team to the state playoffs... in baseball, team qualified for the state playoffs as a senior... a member of the Art Club.

Born Aug. 27, 1987... son of Cyrus Wixson and Karin Nielson... one sister, Brittani Haydel (22)... five brothers, Cyrus Wixson (14), Angel Chao (16), Blake Coburn (14), Derek Coburn (21), and Aaron Coburn (24)... majoring in business management.
