Hit .252 with three home runs and 23 RBIs in 44 games (39 starts)... threw out 18 attempted stealers... in conference games, hit .269 with two home runs and 12 RBIs... threw out eight of 18 steal attempts in league games... led the team with 33 runs scored... had seven multi-hit and six multi-RBI games... went 2 for 2 with two RBIs, three runs scored, a double and a home run against Grambling (Feb. 25)... had a season-best seven-game hitting streak (Mar. 13-Mar. 28).

Before NSU

Played two seasons at Seminole State College and College of Southern Idaho... at CSI, he hit .317 as a freshman... as a sophomore at Seminole State, he helped his team to a 34-21 record and a Regional II Conference championship after hitting .250 with 4 home runs and 27 RBI... played for Eric Myers.

High School

Earned All-Conference honors at Blackfoot High School in Blackfoot, Idaho... hit .461 as a freshman, .481 as a sophomore, .360 as a junior and .440 as a senior... as a freshman, his team lost in the state finals.

Personal

Born Oct. 11, 1985... son of Tony and Carol Jones... two siblings, Ryan (24) and Alex (16)... he received his associates degree from Seminole State... majoring in psychology.
