Hit .217 for the season after appearing in 33 games with 25 starts... hit two home runs and four doubles while driving in 12 runs... hit .180 in 19 league games... had three multi-hit games and multi-RBI games... drove in three runs with a 3-run homer in his only at-bat against Louisiana-Monroe (Apr. 10)... had a 3 for 5 game with a double and run scored at Texas-Arlington (Apr. 28).
2006 Season
Hit .246 with 3 home runs and 18 runs batted in... played in 46 games with 33 starts, playing 8 games at catcher and the rest as a DH... in conference games, hit .300 with 3 HR and 14 RBI... had a career-best 4-for-4 showing with 4 RBI off a grand slam and a run scored at McNeese State (May 14)... went 2-for-5 with a home run, double and three RBI at Southeastern La. on Apr. 21... had a 9-game hitting streak from Apr. 30 to May 16.
Before NSU
Played two seasons at Arkansas, redshirting as a freshman while hitting .350 as a sophomore... Team advanced to the College World Series his freshman season while falling in the Texas Regional his sophomore year... Made the Dean’s List and awarded the Lou Farrell Academic Award.

Lettered three years in baseball and three in football at Little Cypress-Mauriceville in Orange, Texas... Earned All-District and All-State honors as a junior and senior... Hit .509 with 10 home runs and 38 RBI his junior season... Hit .479 with nine home runs and 54 RBI as a senior.
