Before NSU

Played one season at St. Charles Community College earning All-Conference and All-Region honors... compiled a 9-2 record with a 2.68 ERA... had 80 stikeouts in 57 innings pitched. 

High School

Earned first team All-Conference and All-Metro honors as a senior at Windsor High School... hit .405 with 6 home runs and had 10 stolen bases while picking up a 2-0 record on the mound... also an All-State football player, rushing for 2,325 yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior... his baseball team finished with a 24-5 record his senior season, ranking No. 1 in the city of St. Louis.
