Brown is expected to pick up the scoring slack in 81-82. The 5'9" junior forward placed second in scoring last season behind Joan Darbonne, with a 12.0 average. She also finished second in rebounding with a 6.5 per game average.

When asked of Brown's strengths, coach Pat Pierson said "Many." Sharon has a nice shooting touch, and also fills the lanes real well off the fast break. She is also a great girl to work with because of her super attitude on and off the court."

Like all of the Lady Demons, Brown had an illustrious career in high school, as she was named Most Valuable Player in District 3-B for two years, and was selected to the All-State squad for two seasons. Brown had one unbelievable season in which she scored 994 points.

The therapeutic recreation  major has career aspirations of becoming a professional in therapeutic recreation.
