2018 Outdoor Season: Competed in the javelin at two meets during the season…best throw and finish came at the TCU Invitational where she took sixth overall with a throw of 131-7 (40.11m)…only other competition came at the MSU Cowboy Relays/Bob Hayes La. Challenge taking seventh with a throw of 126-4 ¾
2017 Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll
2017 Outdoor Season: Competed in seven meets in the javelin throw event… placed fifth in the SLC Outdoor Championships (130-1)… had five top-five performances throughout the season including her conference result, third place at the UH Tom Tellez Invitational (128-11), fourth place at the UTA Bobby Lane Invitational (120-8) and fifth place at the TCU Invitational (129-9) which was also a personal record.
2016 Outdoor Season: Threw the javelin in six meets … finished top-10 in every meet … best result was fourth at the UTA Bobby Lane Invitational (122-06.00) … qualified for the SLC Outdoor Championships, where she took home seventh overall (127-10.00).
High School: Graduated with a 3.4 GPA from DeRidder High School… lettered in cross country, basketball, softball, and track and field… senior year placed third at state meet in javelin… coached by Edwin Kelly for track and Tammy Gibson for basketball.
Personal: Daughter of Lynda Hickman and Charles Thomas… born Dec. 30, 1996… has three sisters: Ruthell, Ayanna, and Charlisa… majoring in hospitality management and tourism with a concentration in culinary arts.
