2020 Indoor Season: Competed in the triple jump at three meets during the season ... set a new personal best with a jump of 40-6 taking home the silver at the Ted Nelson Invitational ... earned a bronze finish at the Texas A&M Invitational with a jump of 40-2 on Feb. 22 ... placed 17th overall at the Southland Conference Championship with a jump of 37-6.5
2019 Outdoor Season: Competed in the long jump and the triple jump… placed 43
rd in the triple jump at the NCAA East Regional (12.08 m), fourth at the Southland Conference Championship with a personal best jump of 12.66 m, second at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (12.13 m) and the TCU Invitational (12.73 mw), and third at the McNeese State Cowboy Relays (12.11 m)… placed 12
th in the long jump at the Southland Conference Championship with a personal best jump of 5.47 m.
2019 Indoor Season: Competed in the 60 meters, the long jump, and the triple jump… placed sixth in the triple jump at the Southland Conference Championship with a personal best jump of 12.10 m, fourth at the LSU Bayou Bengal (11.80 m) and the Sooner Challenge (11.77 m), and fifth at the Pittsburg State Invitational (11.88 m)… placed 22
nd in the long jump at the Southland Conference Championship with a personal best jump of 5.30 m.
Before NSU: Competed in sprints and jumps at UTSA. As a freshman, Watson finished third in the triple jump at the 2018 Conference USA Indoor Championships and fifth at the CUSA Outdoor Championships. Third team All-Conference USA in the triple jump with a distance of 40-7 ½.Â
Personal: Daughter of Amber and Harold Watson ... three siblings, including twin brother Harold, sister Haeven and brother Amari ... education major who plans to teach after graduation.
