2021 Outdoor Season: Competed in six meets as a thrower … at the SLC Championships, finished 11
th in the shot put and 16
th in the discus … four top-10 finishes in the shot, including wins at the Ice Breaker Classic and at NSU (PR of 47-5) … three top-10 finishes in discus, including seconds at the Ice Breaker Classic (PR of 146-8) and at NSU.
2021 Indoor Season: Competed in three meets in the shot put … earned a point at the Southland Conference Indoor Championships with a season best 44-6.25, placing eighth … had other two other top-seven finishes, taking fourth at the LSU Louisiana Invite (43-1) and seventh at the Texas A&M Teld Nelson Invitational (41-1.75).
2020 Outdoor Season: Canceled due to Covid-19 pandemic.
2020 Indoor Season: Competed in the shot put at six meets on the season ... set her personal best and earned first podium finish at the Houston G5-Super 22 Invitational with a throw of 46-7.25 taking third at the meet ... finished fourth at the Texas A&M Invitational with a mark of 45-10.5, her only other top-five finish ... first meet of her career placed sixth at the LSU Purple Tiger with a throw of 41-10.75 ... had a pair of eighth place finishes at the Ted Nelson Invitational (44-0.75) and Southland Conference Championship (44-10.75).
High School: Part of state championship teams in each of her four seasons at DeSoto High ... three-time state qualifier in discus with her best throw coming in at 148-9 ... qualified for state in shot put as a senior with her best throw at 45-8.
Personal: Daughter of Gloria and Douglas Washington ... siblings include sisters Brittany and Kiera and brothers Douglas, Tyler and Curtis ... vet tech major who wants to be a veterinary technician and be able to live a life she can enjoy.
