2018 Outdoor Season: Competed in the 100 meter hurdles at five meets during the season with one top-10 finish…placed ninth at the ULM Warhawk Invitational with a time of 15.81…ran her fastest time of the season at the MSU Cowboy Realys/Bob Hayes La. Challenge (14.99) finishing 11
th overall…ran a 15.35 at the TCU Invitational and a 15.55 at the LSU Alumni Gold
2018 Indoor Season: Competed solely in the 60 meter hurdles during the season…best time came in the prelims of the Pittsburg State Invitational (9.21) finishing 15
th in the standings…other two races came at the TAMU Ted Nelson Invitational (9.46) and LSU Bayou Bengal (9.70)
2017 Outdoor Season: Participated in six meets in the 100-meter hurdles… competed in the SLC Outdoor Championships with a 16
th-place result (15.22)… improved her personal record under the 100-meter hurdles column at the UTA Bobby Lane Invitational (15.19) and also at the Baylor Invitational (14.70) with a wind-assistance of 4.9… maintained her previous records in the 100 (13.61), the 200 (28.77) and the javelin throw (103-11).
2017 Indoor Season: Redshirted.
2016 Outdoor Season: Participated in the sprints, hurdles and javelin throw … had three top-10s in three meets for the javelin, including seventh place at the Leon Johnson NSU Invitational (101-10.00).
2016 Indoor Season: Participated in the sprints and hurdles in two meets … best finish was sixth at the McNeese Invite (9.23).
High School: A 2015 graduate of McKinney North High School with a 3.3 GPA… lettered in varsity track and field four years… as a junior, team was district champions and as a senior was district and area champions… as a senior, broke the 100 hurdle and high jump record at the district meet with a time of 14.34 and height of 5-6… coached by Jessica Richards.
Personal: Daughter of Leslie and Desmond Smith… born Aug. 7, 1997… has two older brothers, Devin and Trey… majoring in child and family studies while minoring in social work… plans to attend become a counselor for young kids or potentially a social worker…ultimate desire is to work with kids, be a positive influence in young children’s lives, make her parents proud and be able to give back to them.
