1995-96 Postseason Guide: The 1995 Southland Conference "Player of the Year" as a junior, Garner has had an even better season as a senior ... she is one of the 25 finalists for the Women's Basketball Coaches Association College All-Star Team, which will consist of the nations top 10 senior players. The All-Star Team will play the U.S. National Team in April ... she has improved her stats in four statistical categories from a year ago ... has led the team in scoring 11 times and in rebounding 22 times ... has recorded a double-double in points and rebounds 15 times ... recorded a triple-double twice, scoring 17 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 12 assists vs. Nicholls (1/6) and with 19 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists vs. Stephen F. Austin (1/22)
  She scored a season-high 30 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the Lady Demons 96-63 win over Northeast La. (2/9) in a game that was televised by Prime Sports Southwest ... her 12 assists against Nicholls (1/6) was a career-best ... grabbed 21 rebounds at Texas-Arlington (1/12), she broke the school's single-game rebounding mark with 26 at UTA last year.
    Garner was named Southland Conference and Louisiana Sports Writers Association "Player of the Week" after recording her fourth career triple-double vs. Nicholls ... she was also named LSWA POW on two other occasions: after recording her fifth career triple-double vs. SFA (1/29) and after scoring 30 points vs. NLU (2/12).
   One of the most prolific players in Lady Demon and Southland Conference history, she has broken numerous school and SLC records this season .. she is the conference's all-time leader in rebounding (1,369) and steals (350) ... she set the conference single-game field goal percentage mark by going 11 for 11 against Sam Houston (1/30) ... a three-time first team All-SLC selection, she can become only the third four-year player in league history to earn first team honors all four years, joining All-Americans Eun Jung Lee and Lisa Ingram of NLU ... she became NSU's all-time leading rebounder just three games into the season and has also become the schools all-time leader in steals .. she ranks second in scoring with 1,956 career points, second in blocked shots with 208 and fourth in assists with 531.
    Only SLC player to rank in the top five in six individual statistical categories ... she ranks first in rebounding (10.5 rpg) and assists (5.9), second in field goal percentage (.548) and bolcked shots (1.3), third in steals (3.1) and fifth in scoring (17.2) ... she is also sixth in free throw percentage (.691).

Associated Press honorable mention All-American ... first-team All-Louisiana for the second consecutive year .. played and started in 30 games ... averaged 14.5 points, 12.5 rebounds (1st in SLC), 4.4 assists (5th in SLC), 3.5 steals (2nd in SLC) and 1.8 blocks per game (3rd in SLC) ...averaged 16.5 points. 13.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 4.1 steals and 2.1 blocked shots per game in SLC games only ... broke the 18 year old school record by grabbing a career high 26 points and rebounds ... recorded a triple-double on two occasions, scored 16 points, grabbed 21 rebounds and dished out 10 assists vs. McNeese (1/12/95) and scored 16 points, hauled down 21 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and dished out 18 assists against sixth-ranked Stanford ... tallied 25 points and 15 rebounds in Northwestern's 87-82 win at Stephen F. Austin, breaking the Ladyjacks' 86-game conference home winning streak .. had season high of 26 points and 10 assists vs. McNeese ... lead the team in rebounding 25 times ... 1993-94: Named first-team all Southland Conference ... Louisiana Sports Writers Association "Co-Player of the Year," along with Pam Thomas at Louisiana Tech ... Started all 28 games .. finished second in the nation with 138 rebounds per game (1st in SLC) ... averaged 19.9 points (3rd in SLC), 2.2 blocks (1st in SLC), 4.6 assists (4th in SLC), 2.7 steals and .500 (229-558) field goal percentage ... had conference highs of 21 rebounds in a 71-59 win over McNeese and 6 blocks in a 79-65 win against North Texas ... had career highs ov 10 assist versus Sam Houston and 34 points against Stephen F. Austin in the same week, 2/3/94 and 2/5/94 respectively ... led the team in scoring in 15 games and was the leading rebounder in 27 of 28 games ... recorded a double-double, double figures in points and rebounds, in 24 games ... had a triple-double (21 points, 20 rebounds, 10 assists) in 80-65 win against Stephen F. Austin ... was named SLC Player of the Week three times ... Louisiana Player of the Week three times ... was named to the SLC all-tournament team after leading the Lady Demons to the semi-finals ... All-tournament at Maine Tip-Off Classic, including being named MVP.
1992-93: Named the Southland Conference's Freshman of the Year and first-team all-conference .. USA Today Fab Freshman Team, honorable mention at mid season (one of 18 on list) ... started all 32 games ... averaged 15.6 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.4 assist per contest ... had a conference high 22 rebounds in 76-66 win over Texas-Arlington .. led the team in scoring in seven games and rebounding 15 different times ... scored in double figures in all but three games ... had double figures in rebounds in 17 different games ... named SLC Player of the Week twice during the season ... High School: a consensus prep All-American ... led the Lady Black Cats to a No. 14 national ranking in the USA Today Top 25 ... a second team Parade All-American .. also made the Kodak High School All-America Team. Street and Smith's Basketball Yearbook All-America second-team and Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook's All-America second-team, as well as won the Gatorade Player of the Year award in Louisiana ... was rated the country's No. 8 high school player by Blue Star Report ... averaged 15.1 point, 6.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 5.4 steals per game while shooting 54% fro the field as a senior .. was the Class B Most Outstanding Player her junior and senior seasons ...
