1995-96 Post Season Guide: Simpson is having her best all-around season ... a pure scorer, she can drive to the basket as good as anybody in the country and she is the team;s best 3-point shooter .. she is leading the team in scoring for the third straight year and is second on the team in rebounding ... has led the team in scoring 13 times.
    Scored 30 points in the season opener at then-No. 10 Arkansas ... was named all-tournament at the Nevada Lady Wolfpack Classic after scoring 21 points and grabbing 12 rebounds vs. Colorado State in the championship game .. had 25 points against then-No. 6 Colorado and 28 points vs. Louisville in the Seelbach Classic hosted by the University of Louisville to earn all-tournament honors ... tied her career-high with 11 assists against Sam Houston (1/30) ... scored a season-high 32 points against Louisiana College (12/6).
    Simpson holds the school record for most three-pointers made and attempted in a career, hitting 118-of-345 (.342) ... she ranks fifth on Northwestern's all-time scoring list with 1,890 points and is fourth in steals with 268 ... her career-high of 38 points against Mississippi Valley State in Arkansas' Tournament in 1993 still stands as the most points scored by a women's player in Bud Walton Arena.
    "Simp" was named Southland Conference and Louisiana "Player of the Week" on Dec. 11 after scoring 32 points, 25 coming in the first half, vs. LC ... she ranks second in the SLC in scoring (18.9), fourth in steals (2.7) and seventh in assists (4.1) and free throw percentage (.689).

1994-95: Played and started all 32 games, showing all ill effects from offseason reconstructive knee surgery ... named second-team All-SLC and third-team All-Louisiana ... led the team in scoring for the second consecutive season with a 16.9 average ... scored 540 points raising her career total to 1,381, ranking her eighth on the all-time scoring list ... led the team in free throws attempted and made going 124-for-174 (.709) ... pulled down 4.1 rebounds and dished out 2.9 assists and had 2.2 steals per contest ... had season highs of 37 points vs. Notre Dame (3/23/95) , nine rebounds s. McNeese (3/9/95) and eight assists vs. North Texas (2/2/95) ... scored 22 points s. Northeast Louisiana in the first round of the Century Cellunet SLC Classic ... had 21 points and six assists in the opening round of the NWIT vs. Clemson ... scored 78 points in three games at the NWIT ... 1992-93: A big contributor as a freshman .. played both point and shooting guard ... used as the sixth person off the bench most of the season, playing 31 games ... one-third of a freshman trio, along with Joskeen Garner and Stephanie Shaw, that combined to average 34.9 points, 17.6 rebounds and 9.6 assists per game ...started three games ... finished fourth on the team with 12.4 points per game ... averaged 4.7 rebounds per contest ... led the team with 117 free throws made and 170 attempts ... also had 77 assists and 53 steals for the year ... only Lady Demon to pull down more offensive rebounds than defensive (78 offensive, 69 defensive) ... had a season-high of 28 points in NWIT vs. George Washington after having a 25-point game vs. North Texas earlier in the year ... led the team in scoring in four different contest, all wins.

High School: Two-time Class AAAA All-State guard ... led the Shreveport-Bossier City area with a 23.3 scoring average during her senior year ... District 1-AAAA Most Valuable Player although Class AAAA state champion Booker T. Washington won the district ... a four-time all-city and All-District 1-AAAA selection ... helped Lady Raiders to four straight Class AAAA playoff appearances, including a 26-9 record in her sophomore season ... averaged 15.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game as a junior as Huntington advanced to the regionals of the state playoffs.
