Biography

From 1998 Post Season Guide:
Cooper was in the midst of her best season of her four at Northwestern when an untimely knee injury sidelined her late in the season. She was fourth in scoring for Northwestern at 9.6 per game and second in rebounding with 6.0. Her best performance of the season came against regular season champion Stephen F. Austin as she led Northwestern with 22 points and 11 rebounds in NSU's slim eight point loss in Natchitoches. She scored in double digits nine times and recorded three double-doubles. Started and played in 22 games.

Cooper has really improved this season, increasing her offensive productivity... she runs the floor well and is a solid rebounder ... averaging 5.6 points and 3.0 rebounds per game ... has appeared in all 27 games, including starting three of the last four games heading in to the conference tournament ... had 14 points vs. Nicholls State (2/1) ... scored a career-best 18 points, on 8-for-8 shooting from the field and 2-for-2 from the line, and grabbed six rebounds in her first start of the season against Texas-San Antonio (2/17) ... had nine points in each of the last two games, at Stephen F. Austin and at Sam Houston ... known as "Coop" to her teammates.
