Helped guide the Demon pitching staff to the most strikeouts thrown in a single season (459) when he fanned 104 on the season - second most in school history in a single-season... compiled a 7-4 record with a 2.91 ERA and ranking second in the league with that mark... ace of the staff that finished first in the SLC with a staff ERA of 3.94... started 16 games which is second most in a single-season in school history... threw two combined shutouts... hurled 92.2 innings and held opponents to a .261 batting average... went 6-3 in conference only games with a 2.35 ERA... started 11 league games and struckout 77 batters in 69.0 innings pitched and held SLC opponents to a .257 average... twice named SLC Pitcher of the Week (March 15 and April 19) and named Louisiana Pitcher of the Week (March 15)... three games where he struck out 10 or more with a high of 12 Ks against McNeese State on March 19 where he threw six scoreless innings to get the win... had a string of 22 consecutive innings thrown without allowing a run (Feb. 27-March 26)... threw seven scoreless innings while allowing just two hits and struckout nine in a win over UTSA on April 16... chunked eight scoreless with three hits and five Ks against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on May 14... had 11 Ks against UTA then followed that with 10 strikeouts versus Sam Houston State in his very next outing... only allowed 23 extra-base hits and five home runs.

High School
Earned All-State honors as a shortstop is junior year and All-State honors as a utility player as a sophomore… played for Kirk Bragg at Liberty HS in Liberty, Missouri… graduated with a 3.8 GPA.

Born Dec. 1, 1988… son of Darrel Scobee and Cassy Irvine… majoring in graphic communications with a minor in general studies… had a 4.0 GPA in the fall semester.
