2011 Season:
 • appeared in eight games pitching in 11.2 innings
 • struck out nine while giving up seven hits and nine earned runs
 • pitched 4.1 innings against Louisiana-Monroe giving up one unearned run on two hits while striking out three
 
Prior to NSU:  
• played one season at Odessa College and one at Weatherford before transferring to NSU
 
Mulkey in High School:
•  back-to-back first team all-area honors as a junior and senior while playing at Denton High School in Denton, Texas
•  went 6-0 with a 1.63 ERA as a senior and was 10-4 with a 1.12 ERA with 132 strikeouts as a junior while helping his team to the state quarterfinal round of the playoffs
•  lettered four years in baseball and four in golf… a member of the student council as a junior and senior
•  graduated with a 3.0 gpa
