2011 Season:
• Starter in seven games and came in relief in eight games for a total of 15 appearances
• compiled a record of 1-3 and no saves and an earned run average of 8.48
• took the win in the upset victory over LSU with five innings pitched allowing two runs on seven hits with three strikeouts and three walks
• struckout five at Grambling while allowing three unearned runs on 10 hits and a walk
• gave up 38 earned runs on 68 hits with 27 strikeouts and 19 walks
 
Roark in High School:  
• earned all-state and All-CENLA honors as a junior and senior at LaSalle High School in Olla, Louisiana
• team advanced to the state quarterfinals of the playoffs his senior season and was a second round participant and district runner-up as a junior
•  played for Joel Sims
• lettered two seasons in baseball, basketball, football, and track
• graduated with a 3.75 gpa
