2012 Season:
• Watson returns for his senior season after playing in 50 of 51 games during the 2012 season and earning 49 starts on the year.
• Earned post-season honor as second team All-Southland Conference.
• Led the team in batting average, on-base percentage, stolen bases, stolen base percentage,  and hit-by-pitch categories.
• Had 17 multi-hit games the year, also a team-high.
• Season-best outing at the plate against UTSA while going 4-5 with one RBI and a run scored.
• Also had 3 stolen bases against Lamar during conference play.
 
2011 Season:
• Played in all 54 games at first base and finished with a .305 batting average .
• Ranked fourth in at-bats with 190 and hits with 58.
• His batting average ranked third and his 35 runs were second on the team.
• Had 18 multi-hit games including a four-hit game against UTSA in which he scored four runs in five at-bats.
• In the first matchup against Grambling, he went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and one RBI.
• Went 2-for-5 against conference foe Lamar with one run scored and three RBI.
• Against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, he went 1-for-3 for three RBI.
 
2010 Season:
• Had a banner freshman season where he hit .322 with four doubles, a triple, and 34 RBI.
• Played in 33 games making 23 starts.
• Hit .360 in 17 conference games with four doubles and 11 RBI.
• Had nine multi-hit and five multi-RBI games.
• Played all but a couple of games at first base and committed just three errors on the season.
• Went 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs against Creighton.
• 2-for-2 with two RBIs against McNeese State.
• 2-for-3 with three RBIs versus A&M-Corpus Christi and followed that game with a 2-for-4 showing with two RBIs at Southeastern Louisiana.
 
High School:
• A two-time All-State player for Lary Hughes at Southlake Carroll High School in South Lake, Texas.
• As a senior, hit .456 and was named team captain, earned first team All-State honors, was the All-Star game MVP, won the Captain Award and was named Co-Offensive MVP.
• Hit .413 as a junior and earned All-State honors as a first baseman and selected as. Offensive Player of the Year.
• Team was a state finalist his junior year and semifinalist as a sophomore and senior.
• Member of FCA.
• Graduated with a 3.25 GPA.

• Majoring in business administration.
• Had a 3.25 GPA in the fall semester.
