General: Like teammate Mona Pearrie, another "blue collar" type player ... one of those players every coach would love to have; comes out and works extremely hard every day ... one of the best defensive players on the team ... possesses tenacious defensive skills ... a "southpaw" with a nice shooting touch .. can play at the point, off guard of forward slots ... determination is her forte ... very aggressive and intense ... a true team player with great work habits.

1990-91: Could be regarded as the Lady Demon "spark plug" of the 1990-91 season ... fourth leading scorer on squad averaging 7.8 ppg ... ranked second behind Rachel Penny in assists with 72 ... also, second leading rebounder on team to departed Leola Shaw with 156 boards ... her 108 defensive rebounds was also good enough for second best behind Shaw ... fired in season high 16 points on two occasions: at Texas-Arlington and Northeast Louisiana, she hauled down season best 15 rebounds; 11 of those coming off the defensive glass ... handed out nine assists versus Sam Houston State ... ranked fourth on team in three-point shooting, knocking down 6 of 18 attempts (.333) ... one of only four Lady Demons to play in all 27 games ... garnered starts in 11 of those matinees ... averaged 25.6 minutes per game .. hit double figures in the scoring column eight times.

Before NSU (Angelina JC): Two-year starter at the point guard slot ... all-region and all-conference selection ... averaged 15 points and eight assists per game as a sophomore ... was the high scorer for her conference all-star team in two games at the National Junior College All-Star Tournament

High School: Played the first three years of her high school career at Caldwell Parish HS where she was an all-district choice as a junior ... finished her prep career at Lufkin (Texas) High School where she was an all-district selection after leading the Lady Lobos into the state playoffs.

Personal:  Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eloy Washer ... youngest of four children; brother, Mike and sisters, Doreen and Dena.
