General: A versatile player ... her strength combined with an excellent outside shooting touch can place her anywhere from off guard to post ... very intelligent and fundamentally sound ... great court sense ... will definitely be a leader, emotionally and scoring wise ... a take charge type player .. teammates look to her to pull things together .. wants the ball at "crunch time" ... tremendous role player able to contribute inside and on the perimeter.

1990-91: Honorable mention All-Louisiana .. became eligible December 28 (Game 6 vs. Prairie View) after transferring from LSU ... scored 12 points, dished out three assists, had three steals and three rebounds and was a perfect six for six from the charity stripe in her Lady Demon debut ... second on squad in free throw percentage (80%) ... scored career best 20 points against Southeastern Louisiana .. .high rebound game came against Northeast Louisiana when she ripped down 13 boards ... ended the season at the free throw line in the same manner in which she had started - flawless, sinking six of six attempts at Rice ... started all 22 games in which she saw action ... average 8.4 ppg, 4.2 rpg and 2.4 apg ... scored in double digits nine times.

1988-89 (at LSU): Saw action in 28 contests while starting 10 ... shot 37 percent from the field (34-92) and 39.3 from the free throw line (11-28) ... scored a season high nine points against Long Beach State ... her 10 starts came from a Lady Tiger team that reached the Final 16 before losing to Louisiana Tech ... possibly had the best games of her two year tenure at LSU when she held consensus All-American Clarissa Davis to just 16 points, half her average, while chipping in nine points of her own.

1987-88 (at LSU): Played in 20 games ... averaged two points and one rebound per game ... shot 42.8 from the field (15-35) and 50% from the free throw line (9-18) ... collected a season high 10 points and six rebounds versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff ... underwent shoulder surgery during the off season.

High School: Averaged 22.5 ppg and 6.5 rpg following a stellar senior season at St. Mary's ... a two-time Class A All-State selection ... All-State performer in track capturing state titles in both the 1500 run and the high jump.

Personal: Full name Rebecca Hayes ... daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hayes ... youngest of three children, having two older brothers - David and Randolph ... Randolph, a former linebacker for the Demons is currently an assistant coach at Northwestern ... majoring in Biology
