Biography

2019 Season (Senior): Missed the vast majority of the season with a torn ACL suffered in the fall … attempted to play on the knee early in the season, including legging out a single against UAPB … assisted with hitting/pitching trends from dugout.

2018 Season (Junior): Began the season as the starting designated player, making five starts and 29 appearances … batted clean up to start the season … hit .147 with six RBIs and two runs scored … had one RBI in six different games, including two vs. SFA, one vs. Baylor and one vs. Texas Tech … three doubles in her five hits.

2017 Season (Sophomore): Started in 39 games and appeared in 47 as the designated player … a total of 27 games spent in spots 4, 5, and 6 in the batting order … batted .269 with 22 RBIs, both ranking fourth on the team … three RBIs each against Maryland and Western Michigan highlighted six multi-RBI games, tied for second on the team … lone home run was a three-run shot in a win against Western Michigan … three hits against Maryland topped six multi-hit games … fast start to the season, hitting .342 in the first 14 games.

2016 Season (Freshman): Emerged as a starter in second half, making 25 starts, including the final 22 of the final 23 games … Batted .310 (26-of-84) with 11 walks … Produced 15 runs scored, 16 RBIs and two home runs … Hit a grand-slam early in a win against McNeese … Also homered in final series against Southeastern in a win … Majority of appearances came as the designated player … Had a six-game hitting streak that included eight hits … Eight multi-hit games included career-best 3-of-4 with an RBI against Lamar.

High School: Four-year varsity softball player at Lone Oak … Named an all-state catcher in Class 2A as a junior … Selected as a district MVP as a junior … Played two years of varsity basketball … Ran track for three years … Regional qualifier twice in the 300 meter hurdles and once on the 4X400 relay.
