2020 Season (Senior): Guile was the most effective reliever on staff, posting two saves and a 2-1 record in eight appearances with a 2.13 ERA … made four starts, including NSU’s first shutout of the season vs. Miss. Valley State in which she pitched six scoreless innings … other win came against UAPB … threw 4.1 scoreless innings in an eventual loss to Fordham (no decision) … saves came against Valpo and Western Illinois, a combined 3.2 scoreless innings … four of her eight appearances were scoreless.

2019 Season (Junior):  Impactful transfer who was a steadying presence on the pitching staff … posted second-best marks of nine wins and a 2.76 ERA in first season … led the team in strikeouts (77), innings pitched (116.2), appearances (31) and walks (52) … won SLC Pitcher of the Week and Louisiana Pitcher of the Week with two SLU wins and a Grambling win (14 innings, one run allowed) … five of her nine wins came in SLC play … … picked up two wins against Southeastern in a series sweep, combining for 11 innings with just one earned run … had only three of her 29 appearances where she allowed more than three earned runs  … outside of a pair of SLU wins, notable wins include HBU, ACU, La. Tech and TAMU-CC … the ACU win was a five-inning shutout … after a 2-6 start, won seven of her last 12 decisions … entered against Grambling with bases loaded, no outs, didn’t allow a run in the win … career-high seven strikeouts in win vs. Fairleigh Dickinson in which just one unearned run scored.

Before NSU: Pitched two seasons at Southern Utah, totaling 43 appearances and 25 starts … struck out 99 batters … logged four wins … lowered her ERA by more than two full points from her freshman to her sophomore campaign … at Parkway High School, was an All-State and All-City pitcher who had multiple All-Parish and All-District honors … member of the Texas Bombers Gold Elite club team … won freshman of the year honors.

Personal: Daughter of Jennifer and Ted Guile … older brother Jacob and younger sister Carlie … psychology major with aspirations of becoming a personal trainer … both parents are self-employed.
